Start with the complete front
Keep all four edges visible. The front can reveal the player or character, design family, team, brand, and visual variation.
Do not skip the back
The back often contains the manufacturer, copyright year, set language, card number, and licensing details that separate similar-looking releases.
Control glare and rotation
Use soft, even light and photograph the card straight-on. Reflections can hide foil variation names, serial numbering, and small print.
Confirm before adding
Different parallels can share nearly identical photography. Review the year, set, card number, and variation before saving the card or using comparable sales.
