How it works

01 / 06

From card to collection in three clear steps.

01

Scan it

Photograph a raw card, scan a supported slab code, or capture the printed certification number.

02

Verify it

Review the identity, variant, grade, and certification before anything reaches your collection.

03

Track it

Add purchase cost, follow relevant sales, and see collection value and unrealized gain or loss.

Interactive product tour

02 / 06

One workflow. No mystery taps.

Collector-grade context

03 / 06

The numbers that matter, connected to the card that matters.

Identification

Graded or raw, one place to start.

Use QR codes where graders provide them, printed certification numbers where they do not, and separate label, player-side front, and back photos when needed.

QRCERTVISUALMANUAL

Evidence

Relevant sales, not a convenient guess.

Recent provider sales are filtered for identity, variant, and grade. Explore eBay sold results for additional research; those search results are not automatically valued as verified comps.

Portfolio

Cost basis meets market context.

Track what you paid, current estimated value when reliable comps exist, collection totals, and unrealized gain or loss.

Population

Scarcity you can see.

Eligible PSA cards can display population context alongside collection details when data is available.

Rapid scan

Built for more than one card.

Queue multiple confirmed cards, add purchase cost to each, and send the batch directly to your collection—even when pricing is temporarily unavailable.

Accuracy before guesses

Uncertain should look uncertain.

Slabsolutely is designed to keep weak matches out of your collection. When a scan cannot safely identify the exact card, you stay in control through candidate review, clearer photos, or manual correction.

Better scans

04 / 06

Give every card its best shot.

01

Use even light

Move glare away from the label and card surface. Avoid flash reflections over small certification numbers.

02

Fill the frame

Keep the whole card visible for identification, then bring the slab label close when capturing a cert number.

03

Keep text upright

Photograph labels and card backs straight-on so names, years, card numbers, and codes stay readable.

04

Use both sides

For raw cards, a clear back can resolve the set, year, manufacturer, and card number.

PSA · TAG · CGC

Start with the slab’s code when available; use the printed certification number as a fallback.

BGS

Capture the printed cert number directly below the large overall grade—not the grade or subgrades.

SGC

Capture the small authentication number on the front label. Older label formats may include a hyphen.

Questions, answered

05 / 06

Clarity before you scan.

Which grading services are supported?+

Slabsolutely is designed for PSA, BGS, TAG, SGC, and CGC slabs, plus raw trading cards. Grader lookup availability and returned fields can differ by service.

Does reading a cert mean it was verified?+

No. Reading a QR code or printed number saves the cert as evidence. Official verification is separate and may be unavailable; the app should show that distinction clearly.

Does Slabsolutely guarantee every scan?+

No image system can guarantee every card or label. Slabsolutely is designed to flag uncertain results for confirmation instead of presenting a weak guess as fact.

Are eBay sold results included in my estimate?+

The app links to an exact-card eBay sold search for research. Search results are not automatically counted as verified comps. Estimates use available, filtered recent-sales data and may be unavailable.

Why does a card sometimes say “Not priced yet”?+

No reliable exact sales remained after mismatched cards, variants, and grades were removed from the current data window. It does not mean the card has no value; you can still add it with purchase cost.

What collection information can I track?+

Card identity, grade and certification details, copies owned, purchase cost, estimated value, relevant sales evidence, and portfolio gain or loss where data is available.

Is Slabsolutely affiliated with grading companies?+

No affiliation or endorsement is implied. Grading-service names identify the slab types the product is designed to work with.

Where can I get scan help?+
